Helicopter Flight Training

The Rotor Ops Flight Training Centre is based at Grand Central Airport; we do however offer "Off-base Training".

Rotor Ops offers ab-initio training to student pilots and advanced training to qualified pilots. The training centre utilizes Robinson type helicopters for ab-initio training and more advanced training on Bell and Eurocopter types.

We also offer ratings such as Instrument Rating, Instructor Rating, and Conversion to most types of helicopters. Advanced training such as Mountain Flying and external load ratings are also available.

The training centre is able to provide a high quality service because the necessary equipment and facilities are in place to provide professional training in a controlled environment. Our training personnel have the necessary expertise and experience to guide our students through each phase of the training conducted.
